Rattan, Bamboo and Outdoor Furniture & Decor Manufacturer

Classic Home rattan factory began its manufacturing / creation journey in 1997 when the very first container of handcrafted rattan products was exported to Europe, directly from Myanmar. We started production with small rattan and bamboo accessories:  rattan placemats, baskets and trays and then slowly expanded throughout the years. We now supply rattan products and furniture to different countries such as South Africa, Australia, EU and Korea.

In 2010, Classic Home launched CHOF (Outdoor Living Inspirations), producing HDPE (outdoor) woven furniture - supplying to hotels, restaurants and residential clients in the local market. We have supplied outdoor furniture to SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge, Le Planteur Restaurant, Sedona Hotel Yangon, Inya Lake Hotel, Bagan Thiripyitsaya Resort, Sandoway Resort Ngapali, etc.

In 2019, we introduce our latest collection of rattan and bamboo furniture and decor with Woven Objects (sincerely handmade). Woven Objects mainly focuses on open weave rattan patterns. We manufacture a wide range: table top items, picnic baskets, trolleys, rattan lamps, trays, storage and laundry baskets.

We love the simplicity as well as the intricacy that can be created using rattan, bamboo and HDPE (outdoor) wicker. It is our goal to become the No. 1 company to supply both indoor and outdoor woven furniture and furnishings from Myanmar.

our story

Classic Home Company Limited was founded by Kyaw Thu in 1997. Before this, he was exporting fish and prawns, until he found a way to express his passion for interior and decor through rattan accessories making.

The first and only to jump into entrepreneurship in his family, it was not an easy process; he had to start from scratch, do primary research, establish relationships all over Myanmar for supply of raw materials and production process.

He is now the Chairman of Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association (MRBEA).

Founded the company, and now scolds the sales and production team occasionally. He's also the Chairman of Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association (MRBEA).

Evo Outdoor / Rattan Lounge Chair is not suitable for those with chores to do because when you sit down in Evo, it will forever cocoon you in its wide cosy space till your brain turns to mush and you forget about reality.

Celes Triangular Rattan Lamp won ASEAN Furniture Design Contest 2018 and was featured at Style Fair 2018 in Bangkok, alongside other winning designs from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore.

Our factory staff and leaders also love designing, and with every piece sold, they get designers' fee.
