Rattan, Bamboo and Outdoor Furniture & Decor Manufacturer

Classic Home rattan factory began its manufacturing / creation journey in 1997 when the very first container of handcrafted rattan products was exported to Europe, directly from Myanmar. We started production with small rattan and bamboo accessories:  rattan placemats, storage baskets and rattan trays and then slowly expanded throughout the years. We now supply rattan/bamboo products and furniture to different countries such as South Africa, Australia, EU and Korea.

In 2010, Classic Home launched CHOF (Outdoor Living Inspirations), producing HDPE (outdoor) woven furniture - supplying to hotels, restaurants and residential clients in the local market. We have supplied outdoor furniture to SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge, Le Planteur Restaurant, Sedona Hotel Yangon, Inya Lake Hotel, Bagan Thiripyitsaya Resort, Sandoway Resort Ngapali, etc.

In 2019, we introduce our latest collection of rattan and bamboo furniture and decor with Woven Objects (sincerely handmade). Woven Objects mainly focuses on open weave rattan and bamboo patterns. We manufacture a wide range: table top items, rattan picnic baskets, trolleys, rattan lamps, trays, rattan storage and bamboo laundry baskets.

We love the simplicity as well as the intricacy that can be created using rattan, bamboo and HDPE (outdoor) wicker. It is our goal to become the No. 1 company to supply both indoor and outdoor woven furniture and furnishings from Myanmar.

our story

Classic Home Company Limited was founded by Kyaw Thu in 1997. Before this, he was exporting fish and prawns, until he found a way to express his passion for interior and decor through rattan accessories making.

The first and only to jump into entrepreneurship in his family, it was not an easy process; he had to start from scratch, do primary research, establish relationships all over Myanmar for supply of raw materials and production process.

He also served as the Chairman of Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association (MRBEA).
