Design Competition at Factory

Last year in February 2018, we had a design competition at the factory. And two of our lady weavers, Aye Yu Mon and Cho Cho Mon as well as one male supervisor competed. The winner’s piece would be displayed at the showroom and with every product sold, he or she would get designer commission.

To pick the winner, we had our customers vote on the designs. We posted on social media and asked people to vote.

We were exhibiting at Myanmar International Furniture Expo (MIFE) at that time, so we had visitors there voting too!

The winning design was No.3, designed by our supervisor. :)

He had since then designed another hanging / table lamp as below!
