About Us
Classic Home is a Myanmar-based manufacturer and exporter specializing in handmade rattan furniture, woven lighting, baskets, and natural material home décor.

Founded in 1997, we collaborate with skilled artisans across Myanmar to create timeless products that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Our collections are trusted by international retailers, interior designers, sourcing companies, and private label brands seeking authentic, sustainably made products.

What began as a small local workshop has grown into a reliable export manufacturing partner serving global markets with ethically handcrafted products made from rattan, bamboo, and other natural materials.
Our Founder & Journey
Classic Home Company Limited was founded in 1997 by Kyaw Thu.

Before entering the furniture and home décor industry, Kyaw Thu worked in seafood exports, specializing in fish and prawn trading. Driven by a passion for interior design, craftsmanship, and natural materials, he later transitioned into rattan and bamboo product manufacturing.

As the first entrepreneur in his family, he built the company from the ground up — conducting market research, developing production systems, and building relationships with artisans and raw material suppliers throughout Myanmar.

His leadership also extended to the wider industry, serving as Chairman of the Myanmar Rattan and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association (MRBEA), where he contributed to the growth and international recognition of Myanmar’s rattan and bamboo sector.

The Next Generation
As the next generation joins the business, Classic Home is building on our founder's legacy to expand our global reach in design, sustainable manufacturing, and branding, while proudly preserving Myanmar's rich weaving heritage.
